Privacy policy
Last updated 1 November 2026.
Wagwise is a brand of Pointerflow LLC (“we”, “us”), which decides how and why your personal data is used on wigwise.online. This policy explains what we collect, why, who we share it with and what choices you have.
What we collect
- Orders: your name, email address, billing country or postcode and order details. Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe also keeps your payment method so you can add a one-time offer with one click.
- Download records: the order and guides linked to each download link, so we can deliver your files and help if something goes wrong.
- Messages: what you send through our contact form or by email, including your name and email address.
- Email signups: your email address, if you ask for the free quiz or updates.
- Basic technical data: standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) to keep the site secure and working.
- Site analytics: we use Microsoft Clarity to see how visitors use our pages (clicks, scrolling and page views, as anonymous session recordings and heatmaps). Clarity is not loaded on our offer and download pages, it can’t see Stripe’s payment form, and text you type into our forms is masked.
- Advertising measurement: we use the Meta Pixel and Meta’s Conversions API to measure which ads lead to visits and purchases. Meta receives the pages you view, your IP address and browser details, a hashed (scrambled) version of your email address and name when you buy, and the order value. We never send your payment details.
Cookies and similar technologies
Clarity and the Meta Pixel set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser (for example _clck, _clsk, _fbp and _fbc). You can block or delete them in your browser settings, use a tracker-blocking extension, or adjust ad settings in your Meta account. The site still works without them. Stripe may also set cookies on its checkout form to prevent fraud and make payment work.
Why we use it
To take payment and deliver your guides, send receipts and download links, answer support requests, process refunds, prevent fraud and abuse, understand how the site is used and improve it, measure our advertising and, if you signed up, send the emails you asked for. We don’t sell your personal information and we don’t use it to make automated decisions about you.
Where the law requires a legal basis (for example in the UK and EU), we rely on: performing our contract with you (orders and delivery), our legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, analytics and advertising measurement), legal obligations (tax and accounting records) and your consent (marketing emails, and any analytics or advertising cookies where consent is required).
Who we share it with
Only the services that help us run the store, each acting on our behalf:
- Stripe: payments, receipts and fraud prevention.
- Brevo: sending order emails, replies to your messages and any emails you signed up for.
- Our hosting and domain providers: running the website and its network.
- Microsoft (Clarity): site analytics.
- Meta: advertising measurement.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it or to protect our rights, or to a buyer if our business is sold.
Where your data is processed
We and our providers are mainly based in the United States, so your data may be processed outside your own country. Where required, we rely on safeguards such as the providers’ standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Order and payment records are kept for as long as tax, accounting and consumer law require. Support messages are kept for as long as needed to help you and handle any follow-up. Email signups are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Analytics data is kept by Clarity and Meta under their own retention periods.
Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in each email. Depending on where you live, you can also ask to see, correct, delete or export your data, object to or restrict some uses, withdraw consent, or complain to your local data protection authority. California residents have rights to know, delete and correct their data, and we don’t sell or share personal information for cross-context advertising beyond the Meta measurement described above. To make a request, write to support@pointerapps.net. We’ll reply within 30 days and may need to confirm it’s you.
Children
Wagwise is for adults buying guides for their dogs. We don’t knowingly collect data from children under 16. If you think a child has sent us their details, tell us and we’ll delete them.
Security
Our site uses HTTPS, our downloads sit behind signed, expiring links, and card payments are handled entirely by Stripe. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we’ll update the date above. For material changes we’ll make that clear on the site.
